We’re here again to celebrate May, the month of flowers. It’s also the month for Mums/ Moms. What nicer gift is there than to give some stunning flowers.
Throughout May we’re sponsoring the team at Flying Unicorn in their Flower Fantasy celebrations.

From the Flying Unicorn, “The Flying Unicorn is a US based online scrapbook store and kit club that not only carries many of the products you know and love, but also specializes in one of a kind, hard to find papers and products.”
“Manor House has joined with The Flying Unicorn to host a Flower Fantasy during the entire month of May and each week we’ll be posting a challenge in the Flying Unicorn Forums featuring flowers, lots of flowers! Our creative team and the Manor House creative team will share example projects to inspire your creativity and get you going on the challenges. Every week a winner will be randomly selected from the challenge entries to win a RAK of Manor House flowers! How cool is that?”
LINDA LANGES is Manor House Creations’ representative and Flying Unicorn’s guest this week.
This week the challenge at Flying Unicorn is cards. We have an incredible selection to show from the combined talents of Manor House and Flying unicorn.

Laura Gilhuly, also a Flying Unicorn Designer guest has created two lovely cards in beautiful contrasting palettes. Firstly, a gorgeous card for any occasion using pp from The Scrap Cake’s “My Private Happiness” collection, highlighting the Spring pinks and greens. Laura says. “I punched a line and then cut and glued each piece on the card. I also fussy cut the two scalloped circles out of “The Scrap Cake” paper.

Our last card for our fabulous display is a sweet birthday card from Laura in the subtle purple and blue tones. Laura’s says her “… second card is made from 7 Dots paper which matched perfectly with the beautiful Manor House flowers. I punched the bottom edge of the card to add some drama and added a few gems.” The swirly shape was cut using her Cricut.
Laura has blended a fabulous mix of Manor House Creations flowers to make a precious card for a lucky birthday girl.
