OK and now for our Facebook Giveaway winners…….

I just love your flowers! I love the versatility, the beautiful colors, and all the details. I really love the ones in light pink and blue colors, and the fact that almost all of your flowers mixes so well with one  another.

And I really love the fact that even if some of your flowers are really big, they are fairly thin, so we still can use them on a scrapbook page, and put it in an album without messing the flower up to much.

Thanks for the chance to win. Would I be so lucky, it would be heaven on earth, to be able to get my hands on some of your gorgeous flowers:)

And thanks for all the great inspiration in the blog!

Greetings from Norway:)

JASMINE SHEA (Australia)

Comment: I think the blues and yellows are just divine but then again, they are my favourite colours so I tend to gravitate towards them. I actually bought some of The Tropics-Bayside from the internet thinking they were more blue when in actual fact they are more purple which I don’t tend to use but then that will be my challenge, to use something I would not otherwise use. I did look at how the DT had used them so that will be enough inspiration to try them. I would love to see more neutral tones and maybe black in a number of sizes. All in all, I think Manor House are doing a fabulous job with their range and inspiration from the DT.

Comment: It would be wonderful to win that package! Either of them!!! I love the variety of colors that you have, from the beautiful bright colors to the muted pastels. I also like that you have a varied size to work with from the large beautiful single blooms all the way to the adorable little cutie pies!!! I would love to see some small cluster blooms that are not roses!! That would be my wish!!!

Girls – please email us your postal addresses and your happy mail will be on its way soon!

We had some wonderful feedback and thankyou to everyone who went to the effort of telling us what they think…we value your opinions greatly!

A TSC dollhouse

NERRIDA has been busy making us this doll house for her little girl – all done in papers from The Scrapcake, featuring “The Bright side of Life” collection.

The front features the Country Lane – pink flowers, plus The Tropics – By the Pool, and finished off with a couple of medium-sized rose leaves.

The inside, tastefully decorated with The Scrapcake papers. Nerrida used the 6″ paper pad for all the floor rugs.

And the pelmets were made from the 7×12″ borders sheet.

Once filled with doll house furniture, the whole project comes together beautifully.

A doll house any little girl would love…..

Step by step with Delaina

Hello Everyone! Delaina here today with a step by step layout. I created this page using the gorgeous flowers from the Summer collection. I am in love with each and every one and I know you will be too.

I created this page using:

* Country Lane Charm,

* Blossoms – Airlie, Byron & Esperance,

* Cutie Pies – Pink.

 I want to show a little paint technique on this page using a few colors of Puffy Paint…
I then used this MS Punch and punched the scalloped shapes..2 White and 2 Yellow. I then adhered the yellow to the white as seen below…
I used the Little Yellow Bicycle, Elizabeth Lane Collection….Cut the Grey paper 4″ X 12″ and then the Border Title Strip…
You will need a 5″ White paper Doily, Pearl Blings,  Journal piece cut from the LYB paper, Floral with Vine cut  from the LYB Papers…
Follow the steps pictured  below to place the Products on your LO… I used 3 small photos…
The Next thing I added to this page was the Paint Dots…I randomly used the colors to accent the flowers…an easy step that makes a statement with colorful detail…
After adding the paint, I felt it needed a little more detail so I added the journal piece next to the photos, the Butterflies and scalloped white Lace under the title border strip….I accented the Lace with Pearl Blings and then added a piece of Twine just above the Pearls…
Now it feels complete to me…

A flowery birdcage

Hello!  Nerrida here and today I wanted to share with you this little birdcage that was hanging on my girls room, looking a bit sad and plain.  I couldn’t resist going crazy with flowers all over it! I could have added more but I didn’t want to use up all my beautiful Manor House flowers at once!

I coloured one of the’ Romance – devoted’ roses to a soft pink and another in bright yellow.

As you can see, I really want crazy with flowers, but they just looked soooo good!

 Products used: Wishes – serenity, Taneisha, Frosted wild rose, Frosted wild orchid, Enchanted, Country lane – quaint.

DT inspiration – published!

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good day.  We know JENI from our DT did, when she heard the news that her layouts were being published in Scrapbook Creations.

Here’s 2 from JENI. Aren’t they stunning!

Don’t you just love those burnt oranges – so warm and luscious.

Products used: Morning Glory, Rose leaves.

We LOVE the white frosted tips on these petals too. Beautiful work Jeni!

Products used: The Tropics – Seaside, Magestic- Gemma, Fantasy – Moonlight.
