Gifts and cards for Mum

Hello everyone,

As promised, we have some more great gift and card ideas for Mother’s day. Our design team have been hard at work to bring you some wonderful ideas.

First up, Its Karen, with this lovely card.

‘I wanted to use the ‘Frosted wild rose’ for my card, as it matched my papers perfectly, accept the flower was a little big for where I wanted to use it. So I removed the bottom 2 layers, and made them into ‘rose buds’. I will be giving a step by step tutorial on the blog soon to show how I made them.

Heres a few close-ups of my buds.

Next, just take a look at this stunning 3D paper tole picture JENI has made for her Mother-in law, who loves hummingbirds. It’s a  gift for Mother’s Day.

And, in Melinda’s very own, stunning style, she has created this beautiful card for someone special in her life

Melinda has used a little brown spray ink on the ‘Christmas star’ flower for an entirely different look.
