Manor House Creations sponsors Flying Unicorn

Posted on

It’s May and it’s the month to celebrate flowers. As Australia settles into the frosted mornings of Autumn, in the northern hemisphere the signs of Spring are everywhere. What better way is there to join in the festivities of Spring than by spreading Manor House Creations flowers around the world.

To celebrate May, the month of flowers, Manor House Creations is sponsoring Flying Unicorn and joining in their blossoming activities.

From the Flying Unicorn, The Flying Unicorn is a US based online scrapbook store and kit club that not only carries many of the products you know and love, but also specializes in one of a kind, hard to find papers and products.”

“Manor House has joined with The Flying Unicorn to host a Flower Fantasy during the entire month of May and each week we’ll be posting a challenge in the Flying Unicorn Forums featuring flowers, lots of flowers!  Our creative team and the Manor House creative team will share example projects to inspire your creativity and get you going on the challenges.  Every week a winner will be randomly selected from the challenge entries to win a RAK of Manor House flowers!  How cool is that?”

The first week of May is a layout challenge.

Here’s one from our own designer MELINDA THOMPSON who created this gorgeous guest layout just for The Flying Unicorn. Melinda has incorporated her fabulous, masking, misting and textured techniques.

Next up is a stunning page from Flying Unicorn Creative Designer, Shona Keehn. Shona’s “Flower Fantasy” layout features an adorable photo of her daughter and grandson.

Shona says she loves Manor House flowers and loves that she can mist them to match her layout.  Shona displays here before and after blooms. She used mist to color “The Tropics” flowers orange and “Country Lane Quaint” olive.

Products: The Tropics, Country Lane- Quaint, Taneshia, Cutie Pies -lime.

We also have this beautiful, softly angelic page from Tracy Gregory. Tracy has positioned her sweet niece in a bed of lovely pink and white Manor House blooms.

Flying Unicorn designer, Tracey Gregory had this to say about her Flower Fantasy layout: “This layout is of my dear niece, Vivien, on Easter day. Believe it or not my mom took this incredible shot with her phone camera. I knew when I saw it, I wanted to create an elegant layout and these Manor House beauties were just perfect. I really love the layers of fabric and delicate paper and how each petal is reinforced with pliable wire so the blooms can be perfectly positioned on your page.”

Products: Country Lane- Quaint,  Enchanted, Sprinkles -lime, Shimmers, Christmas Star.
