Hi everyone! Its Nerrida here just dropping you a line from wonderful Brisbane in Queensland, Australia. Just wanted to share some photos with you of the Papercraft & Scrapbook Expo we attended as Exhibitors on the long weekend. We met SO many wonderful people from other companies, Design teams, magazines and caught up with some old friends as well. The thing that just blew us away was the overwhelming support from the public. We lost count of the number of times we heard the word ‘beautiful’ when people first laid eyes on our flowers. We thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for giving us the confidence to continue our journey with MHC.
So without further ado, allow me to share some pictures.
Me unpacking boxes on the first day at the Brisbane convention centre and setting up, and hanging what seemed like 10,000 packs of flowers! (LOL).
All unpacked, nearly set-up and looking good.
Some of our new winter collection flowers.
The fabulous Scrapcake papers all on show.
We had lots of admirers and questions on how to re-create some of the featured projects shown at the stand.
And sometimes we had a queue up waiting to get in and see our flowers.
We sold lots of Shimmers products because of the video we had on constant play showing how to colour our flowers. Thankyou to Mahlin Wiggur and Melinda Thompson for their inspiration for the video.
And as you can see, Trudi Harrison was kind enough to lend us her stunning dressform to display, which had lots of admiring glances and comments.
Here’s some more of the beautiful and eye-catching projects we had on display.
We were so privileged to be able to share some projects by some of the world’s scrapbooking superstars such as Steph Devlin, Karola Witczak, Trudi Harrison, and our own world-class Design team.
And where would we be without our fabulous staff? Here’s our very own Joanne Bain & Linda Langes re-stocking the racks with product. These girls were so much fun to have around.
And we got to meet some of our wonderful store customers. Here’s Karen Shady & I catching up with Kelly Anne Oosterbeek from A Mothers Art.
And catch up with some old friends – Trudi Harrison, Kerryn Lawson and Leanne Allinson. Will all those people taking photos stop cracking jokes & making me laugh please!? (LOL). Love these girls!
We had ball at the show and want to thank all our supporters so much for your amazing feedback and comments. You really made the show special for us.
I am enjoying a little holiday this next 2 weeks but will be back with MHC very soon. Bye for now.
