You will make a classic, shabby chic 12″ x 12″ layout, using the latest flower releases from Manor House Creations, including some not yet released. You will learn 3D layering, stamping, flower clustering, and how to get the most value out of your patterned papers. You will also learn how to make and decorate your own resin pieces, to look even better than the bought ones!

Easter inspiration and more with Karen

Hi everyone,

I am so very happy to be back on board here at Manor House Creations. I have had a few medical issues over the past 12 months, and ended up having to have spinal surgery in August last year. It has been a long, drawn out recovery, but, finally, now, I can say ‘I’m almost all healed’ and ready to get back into doing what I love.

I have 2 layouts to share with you today. As Easter is just around the corner, I thought Id share with you a cute Easter layout I did recently, featuring some pretty Manor House flowers, along with an adorable photo of my little boy, Jack…

MHC Products used:

Gelato – blueberry, Springtime – mauve, Mini Blush roses – soft gold.

This second layout is a bright, summer inspired layout, again, featuring some photos of my son Jack.

I sprayed the white cutie pie flower with a bright orange mist. Manor House flowers take ink so well, ensuring you always have a flower to perfectly match your project.

There were almost 70 ladies attend, and it was a weekend full of creative fun and laughter. We thought it would be fun to share some of the photos with you all.

Firstly a photo of the whole group together. this pic was taken on the last day, and unfortunately, some of the ladies had to leave before this was taken.

Our dress up party on Saturday night. As you can see, more than half the ladies dressed up, and didn’t they all look wonderful.

Lots of creating happening below

the gold colouring, with purple and apricot flowers to tie into the bride’s

frame card - Beck Beck Beattie

Using only white cardstock layer embossed and non embossed pieces to create
interest.  Contrast this with coloured flowers for a striking
effect.  I used Helmar Liquid Scrap Dots to raise the frames and butterfly
for dimension without unsightly foam being seen under such detailed pieces.

In the press

Our flowers have been appearing on projects far and wide recently. We are noticing them popping up so much more among the pages of crafting magazines, both here in Australia, and overseas. We thought it would be fun to showcase some of the beautiful creations we have come across in the magazines, here on our blog. We plan to make this post a regular event, so, please, if you have had any creations featuring Manor House Creations products published in a magazine, anywhere in the world, we would love to have to chance to share them with everyone.

Just send your work to us here , along with the magazine it was published in, and the issue, and we will do our best to feature it here on the blog for the world to see.

Something a little different

Posted on

As you have probably noticed, our gorgeous new ‘Great Gatsby’ collection is full of stunning, rich, and bold colours. We thought it might be fun to show you a colour combination that you may not have thought of, let alone tried before. I would never have thought that red and purple together in a project could work, but, well, take a look at what our design team have done below, and Im sure, after seeing these, you too will be a convert.

Alicia has used the bright colours, while still managing to keep her usual soft, romantic style
