Hello everyone,
Its Karen here today to share with you a quick and easy little idea I had to make your own rose buds. I have used the ‘Frosty wild rose’ for my card, but you are able to adapt this technique to any of the larger MHC flowers.
Step 1. Using wire cutters, trim the wire from the back of the flower. Remove the bottom 2 layers from the wild rose flower, keeping the 2 stuck together ( be careful so as not to tear it)
Step 2. Cut the flower in half
Step 3. Run a fine line of liquid glue along the bottom edge of the flower
Step 4. Roll the flower up, like a cone, as shown below, and set aside to dry.
Step 5. Cut a small piece of gypsophilia from the Frosty wild rose stem. Add a small amount of liquid glue to the centre of your rose bud, and add the gypsophilia to the centre of the bud.
Thanks for calling in, and I hope you enjoyed my little step by step ‘Rose buds’
