Hi again, everyone! Are you getting excited (or exhausted) by the frenzy of gift purchasing, shopping, preparing for Christmas? I know sometimes I get a bit frazzled by everything that needs to be done in order for everything to go smoothly. Maybe it time to get some ‘me’ time and be a little creative. Once again, some of DT girls have provided us with some amazing inspiration for decorating our homes for Christmas.
Wow, Christmas is over, and how quickly it comes and goes! So now the time to get those photos done and start making memories. What would be more perfect than the Cozy Christmas papers from The ScrapCake? Here’s what some of our DT girls have done with them and of course, they have used our Manor House flowers as well, and how divine do these look?
A humorous layout by RIA – who else has photos like these?
Christmas is almost upon us, and at this time of the year I like to create a few special OTP Christmas projects to decorate my home and give as gifts. I am always on the lookout for items to alter and recently I purchased this rustic metal heart hanging at a gift store.
I love the mini glitter roses as they are perfect to add some sparkle to your Christmas creations. To alter my heart I used the wire from the glitter mini roses to attach them by twining around the frame, then wrapped the left over metal stem around a paintbrush to curl.
Whose looking forward to Christmas day? So close now…..Today our very clever Design team has been getting the in the spirit and have created these GORGEOUS layouts of their specials someones, whom I’m sure, are all looking forward to the special time.
I don’t know about you but I seemed to have left so many things to the last minute this year and Christmas is looming rapidly! Sometimes you want to add a little something special to your wrapped gift so why not add a tag? These are so much fun to do and don’t take long to make (ideal at this time of the year).

Yikes!! Its tomorrow! And you haven’t made enough cards!?!?? Well we are here to help….. Nadia has come up with a quick and easy card that you can whip up in no time.
Quick instructions: (make 4 at once to save time!)
Using a cardstock base of white, cut a smaller patterned paper piece to fit inside the card front. Cut a square of white cardstock and make a border for it with a coordinating piece of patterned paper and glue all 3 to the front as shown. (You can ink or stitch as many of them as you want, or just leave them plain).
Stamp a tag-sized piece of cardstock with any christmassy stamps, blot or spray with red mist randomly, then stamp and cut out a simple sentiment to go across the tag centre, snipping ‘v’s from the ends.
Glue a piece of lace (again blotted or misted), across the bottom half of your card. Finish with some white twine wrapped around a piece of cardstock or paper, with the bottom edge punched, about 3/4 inch high and the width of your card, and glue to the card front where shown. Add 2 flowers with a false string bow where shown.
Happy Sunday, we hope you are all having a lovely weekend.

Firstly This delightful Christmas sleigh from Trudi. What a wonderful centrepiece this would make for your Christmas table
We have a HUGE collection of wonderful, handmade Christmas gift ideas to share with you today. Gift giving can get a little out of hand at Christmas time, with people spending large amounts of money on impersonal gifts for their loved ones. I personally much prefer to receive a hand made gift, that someone has made, specifically with me in mind. Below, we have a assortment of lovely, and relatively inexpensive ideas, that you can easily make at home, using a few bits and pieces from your scrap stash, and of course, lots of stunning Manor House Creations flowers.
My kids made the annoucement the other day that our house didn’t look like Christmas…… so I had a brief moment of inspiration and saw that our coffee table could do with a little something. I made both of these in half an hour each – they were so quick and easy! I urge you to have a go too if you’re house isn’t feeling Christmassy.
