I painted the easel and dress form white then distressed both. Once I had all of the elements attached to the 6×6 easel my lovely hubby then attached the dress form to the side of the easel with the use of wire and hot glue..so Miss Charlotte is now the main element feature of my OTP project. The angel wings were created using the Xmas Tinsel bow and cutting in half, it made the most gorgeous wings.
I recoloured the Melon Petite Roses with Pink Bubb Glimmermist and with help of the already melon colour they went to a lovely shade of hot pink, must to my liking. I also pulled away some of the backing layers on a couple of the roses to make them smaller and more petite.
This next week or 2 we are featuring the Australian Chipboard Company Twiddleybitz. Here is another of our talented Design Team girls, Linda Langes, to show you some of the wonderful project ideas using Twiddleybitz products.
So our new collection is OUT! YAY! And we love some of our new accessories and hope you will too. These were born from idea that the owner of MHC had for embellishments that she couldn’t buy on the market…So she decided to make them and share them with the world. Take a look…

Hello again! As you know we recently featured one of our favourite Australian chipboard manufacturers in partnership with MHC and now its time for another share from a well-known member of their Design Team over at Twiddleybitz. Take a look at this summery-goodness from Trudi Harrison.
I coloured the internal chipboard background pieces with Espresso Pearlz Shimmerz & Tickle Me Turquiose Shimmerz. The outside of the shadow box was covered with the beautiful Graphic 45 papers and edges were distressed.
Hi everyone! Welcome to our blog today. We know that many of you are short on time these days and sometimes need to scrap in a hurry, so we have created some of our newest products to be a perfect fit for the PROJECT LIFE scrappers out there.
It’s almost Mother’s day, and I don’t know about you, but I find it so hard to find that ‘perfect’ gift for my Mum. She doesn’t like us to spend too much money, but I want to give her something special, to show her how much we love and appreciate her. A handmade gift or card is the perfect solution. It is such a wonderful and personal way to say thank you to your Mum. The talented design team have come up with some gorgeous ideas to help you with deciding on what to give to your Mum this Mothers day.
Firstly, LINDA has made this stunning little gift box. How special would your Mum feel to receive this.
OK, who has them? Hands up…. Well, we still love them don’t we? So, we scrapbook them, because its those memories that we giggle (or groan) at later.
A few of the MHC Design team have created some amazing inspiration using the TSCLittle Monsters range, showing just how versatile this range is. First up, Nerrida had created a layout of her cute little monster.
The new Beautiful You Collection from Manor House Creations is absolutely beautiful and stole my heart as soon as I saw it! I thought the gorgeous mix of soft pinks and yellows would be perfect for this photo of Alex and our new puppy Tyson. I’ve used the ‘In My Thoughts’ paper which has a soft pink reverse side which I used to layer under my photo:
Hello again. Today we wanted to show you one of our fabulous new products called FEATURE FRAMES which may now be in your local store.
These frames come in 4 designs and were designed with both scrappers and card-makers in mind and they are totally versatile. Today we’ll focus on the card-makers and show you a few ideas on how to make either your own Wedding invitations OR how to make a card for a wedding you may need to attach to a wedding gift. Hand-made cards are always so much more precious.
This first card is fairly straight forward and uses the NOUVEAU feature frame as a background. All these cards are made on Twiddleybitz card packs which we stock.
Hey there and welcome. Recently we did the first part of our series on DIY Wedding invitations and cards. Have you got a Wedding to plan for or maybe you are attending one soon and need to take a gift – how about attaching one of these? Many of these card use our BELIEVE paper collection.
All these cards are made by our resident card maker – Gwen Wruck. So quick and easy to do – often ‘simple’ looks so elegant.
Today I am sharing a mixed media layout using the gorgeous “Beautiful You”collection of pattern papers and flowers from the Winter 2014 Collection.
To create the background I tore the yellow “In My Thoughts” pp diagonally, then backed it with the pink side of the “Fresh and New” pp. I masked over the top using a floral stencil design and modelling paste. Once dry, I misted with water and randomly added dabs of mimosa IZink, then spritzed with water again to created a watercolour effect. I dried off and repeated with the geranium IZink.
We are sooo excited here at MHc to show you our newest release of papers and embellishments used on these projects. This collection was designed around family, home & garden using the bright and bold primary colours plus that trend-setting lime colour that is popular lately. Let’s take a look at what our DT have been creating featuring this new collection.
Cathy made this striking red & white layout using the ‘New day’ paper as her background.
We have some goodies here to share with you using our fabulous new papers from the Thoughts Wandering collection. This one is all about travels, holidays & dreams. It’s both masculine and feminine with touches of greys and brown through to hot pink and teals.
A layout from Nerrida shows off the more masculine side of these papers.
