Something a little quirky

 We have something a little different, and alot adorable to share with you today, from the very talented Morag Cutts.

She created this cute parade float as part of a special ‘Homecoming’ parade at THE DIGICHICK blogspot.

A word from Morag, ‘I created a float with a large ‘cake’ base and topped it off with a bird cage.  The float is a vibrant mix of fuscia pink, tangerine and limes – perfect for an Indian summer!’

OTP Inspiration

Today, we have a truly beautiful creation from Morag to share with you.

She really has outdone herself here, as Im sure you will agree. This beautiful mixed media piece includes just the right amount of ink, paint and texture. The pretty blue, green and white are a perfect colour choice to highlight the MHC Winters song flowers at their best.

Morag has given the MHC leaves a light brush over with white paint to blend in with the rest of the design.

Notice the hint of aqua spray ink on the white flowers.

Designer Inspiration

Today, we have some more wonderful creations from our talented designers, featuring our latest ‘Winter release’ flowers.

Next, this delightful card from Linda. I have to admit, that this stunning blue flower, from the ‘Winters song’ collection is my absolute favourite at the moment, and Linda has showcased it to perfection.

This next, stunning creation is from Lene Neby. We love all the gorgeous texture on this layout.

Altered bird houses

Hi there, and welcome.

Today, we have 2 wonderful altered bird houses, to share with you, from our talented designers, MORAG  and MONIKA.

Firstly, Morag has made this cute bird house name plaque, complete with little bird. What an adorable addition to any young girls bedroom.

Monika has also created an adorable bird house for her little girl. She has a lovely photo of her daughter as the centre piece, and has decorated her bird house with some stunning flowers from our latest ‘winter’ collection.

Our talented designers have been busy at work once again ( is it work or play?)

We love how MORAG has combined the softness of the MHC flowers, with the grungy paint splats, and that fantastic barbed wire.

DT inspiration

Our designers were given free reign, to create whatever they wanted, using whichever flowers and goodies they liked. They let their creative juices flow, and have come up with some stunning creations to share with you today.

DELAINA has combined the Scrapcake papers along with some MHC Party lights and Sprinkles, and come up with this delightfully bright and happy layout, which compliments this adorable photo perfectly

A pretty frame for Mum by Morag.

Meanwhile, we have a beautiful frame to share with you made by the lovely MORAG CUTTS. She has used some of our prettiest flowers from both the Autumn & Summer collections as well as some of the new ScrapCake papers. Take a look…..

This photo features the stunning ‘Party Lights’ blue flower – so sparkly but also pretty.

She’s added some bling to the ‘FROSTING’ blue flower & also to the ’TANEISHA’ flowers – subtle but very pretty. This photo also shows one of our most popular flowers ever – The Grandma’s garden ‘PINK LACE’.

Notice the bling also on the fussy-cut butterfly.

More eggs-tra special Easter ideas

We are back, as promised with some more wonderful Easter goodies from our team.

Firstly, is MORAG’S delightful Easter basket. Isnt this such a wonderful gift idea for a special someone, or, if you can’t bare to part with it, it would make the perfect centre piece for your Easter celebrations. Just look at the work that has gone into making that beautiful Easter egg. And did you notice the cute little watering can?

Well what can we say about this beautiful layout from Jeni O’Connor. Jeni has such a unique style that is all her own. And this layout is stunningly JENI. There are so many details, you just dont know where to look first. We love the way she has fussy cut her children out of the photo and placed them in the frame.
