Hi everyone!  Today’s inspiration, we focus on our floral-patterned flowers …starting with this one from YUKIKO. Red, pink and green make such a beautiful combination!

This month we gave our Design Team total freedom to create a project in whatever style they liked using whichever flowers they liked. Very inspiring girls! We love them all.

Mini albums are a great way to store memories without being overwhelming.  I created my mini book from scratch just using some chipboard, 12×12 cardstcok and the gorgeous Summer at the Seaside collection from Scrapcake.

I do like a little texture on my pages, so I teamed up the lovely Tropics by the Pool flowers with some leaves and shells.   I inked the background over a compass mask. The lighthouse was cut out of  Calm Sea  paper which is inked at the edges. Finally, I topped it all off with lots of glitter.

Yes, The ScrapCake have provided us with an inovative size of 7×12 with their newer collection – so economical!  You can use them straight on a page, meaning very little or no waste, and they are PERFECT for card-makers.

Here’s what a couple of the DT girls came up with using this fabulous new size.

Each month we love to let our designers just go with the flow and design whatever their creative heart wants to do. I just love being the reciever of all these LOVELY projects that come in. It so hard not to stop working and just throw opent he doors of my scrap cupboard or take off for the nearest shelf of Manor House goodies.

You can see why I feel like that again today…

This first project – a beautiful album, features our new flowers, and is from the very talented Nadia.

Hello again! As usual, each month, we ask our DT team to inspire you with their free-style layouts, where they choose any flowers they like to make a layout of their choice and they never disappoint! Take a look at these….

Our designers were given free reign, to create anything they like for todays feature. We love to do this, as we find it definitely shows the designers at their best, which, looking below, Im sure you will agree.

Firstly, we have a wonderful  layout from Elena, starring her adoarable little girl. Elena has used lots of layers, ink, paint and all things gorgeous, to create her beatiful page.

Hi everyone! Hope you are having a good day.  We know JENI from our DT did, when she heard the news that her layouts were being published in Scrapbook Creations.

Here’s 2 from JENI. Aren’t they stunning!

Two of our designers, Nerrida, and Jeni, are here today to share with us their wonderful girly layouts.

Nerrida has created a soft, pretty pastel layout of her daughter. She has combined The Scrapcake ‘My private happiness’ paper collection with lots of beautiful MHC flowers. She has misted the background of her layout, which adds to the soft, feminine feel.

A few of the girls at MHC have been busy and have some more wonderful projects to share. Take a look…

Hi , Sonia posting here today using the amazing Thoughts Wandering collection. One of the promises we made our girls is that when we moved house we would get a puppy. Well he is here and boy has he made his presence felt in a very short time! The girls have just fallen in love with Tyson and it’s fabulous to see a strong bond developing between them already. It might even give me an excuse to try more boyish pages!  For this layout I’ve used the reverse side of the ‘Postcards’ paper. Don’t forget to check out the reverse sides of all of the Manor House Creations papers as they are just a fabulous as the ‘fronts’!!

Melinda Thompson - August 2014

Hello to you all :)

I have recently completed a project using the very gorgeous “Beautiful You” paper collection as well as lots of stunning blooms! This paper range begs to be fussy cut so I cut out some of the flowers in the paper and arranged them on my layout. I used plain white cardstock for the base…which is so unlike me…but these colours look amazing and so crisp against a white background.

“Time Flies”

Some closes ups…..love the hot pinks and bright yellows together.  I have mixed a matched flowers from new and past releases, the different sizes and styles look amazing together.  I have also used a Felt Doiley in Hot Pink and a lace flower (Lullaby) to add layers behind my photo.

Country Estate - New day

Hi everyone – Sonia here with a bit of Springtime creating! I love this time of the year as the flowers start to bloom and the butterflies emerge, not to mention the sun starts to heat up a bit! The new Country Estate is a fabulous range to help get in the Spring mood and I used the gorgeous ‘New Day’ paper as the base for my layout – how beautiful are the images?!!

Welcome! Lets take a look at what our amazing DT has been up to this month. Gwen features first using our easy-to-use Sentiment banners – perfect for cards.

As some of you may know I am on the Creative Team at Flying Unicorn.  Flying Unicorn are major sponsors to the challenge site – CSI: Color, Stories, Inspiration! So for the month of May the Creative Team have been invited to be Special Detectives. I was given this Case File No. and couldn’t wait to add lots of MH flowers to my layout.

The Case File looks like this:

My take on this challenge :

“Hello Little One”
