There are three responses to a piece of design — yes, no, and WOW! WOW is the one to aim for.

Hi everyone and welcome to the C’est Magnifique Kits Blog Hop!!

If you’ve arrived here from Michelle Singh’s blog, then you’re right on track! If not, head back to the beginning of the hop HERE at the C’est
Magnifique Kits blog!

For the past year C’est Magnifique Kits has been bringing you their sophisticated and unique kits with paper and embellishments from all over the world! This month’s kit and add-ons feature some of our beautiful and perfectly coordinated flowers:

Hello again…hope you are having  creative day.  Today we have a fabulous share for you from our talented new Educator – Elena Olinevich. She is a master at mixed media projects and she knows exactly what to do when its comes to using flowers on male-orientated projects.

MH love the skin you're in

Hi Ladies,

I was inspired to create these 2 LO’s using tutorial’s from Pop and Colours #2 Workshop.  I had a lot of fun creating the mixed media backgrounds on these LO’s and of course couldn’t go past adding some Manor House flowers from the Spring 2013 Collection.

Love The Skin You’re In

The blue minuettes and pink flowers from the LO pack – cheeky were a perfect match for the Starburst Sprays.  I altered the pink flower from the LO Pack by pulling apart the flower and using the top section, which I stamped in black with a chevron stamp and topped with recycled black fabric button.

Hello! Today we are thrilled to share with you, some projects and news from our of our retail outlets in USA….

C’est Magnifique Kits

This month they are having a sketch competition (see below) and guess what the prize is? …..you guessed it! MHC are giving away a RAK to one lucky person who participates. So let’s have a look at the sketch…

We are always thrilled to receive entries to our monthly sketch competition. It’s so wonderful to see how others use MHC flowers. Here are this months entries based on Monika’s sketch…

So, here’s a look at what our talented friends have created.

This beautiful canvas was created for the Brisbane Scrapbooking Expo, by the very talented Nerrida Mitchell, and I have to say, it was one of the stars of the show. She has created an inviting little garden scene, featuring some stunning Manor House Creations flowers, and The Scrapcake ‘My private happiness’ papers.

Hello everyone! Hope you’re having a great day! Over at The ScrapCake we are doing some work on a theme about shaped cards this month, so here is my creation.

I used a piece of packaging from a Pink Paislee product, traced around it and then machine stitched around the edge. I created the card front with pink cardstock as my base, using the ‘My Private Happiness’ papers, and then securing it all down using 3D foam to attach it all.

Our design team has been busy creating some wonderful layouts to share with you today. Each one of them, featuring THE SCRAPCAKE paper collections, which team perfectly with Manor House Creations flowers, as you can see.

The Summer city collection, which Erin has used below, isn’t only suited to summery, beachy layouts.

Are you ready to take an inspiring trip through our Manor House garden today. Our designers have once again created some stunning pieces to share with you.

MHC have a huge variety of flowers, in just about every colour imaginable, but, even with so many to choose from, sometimes, you will find that you just dont have that ‘perfect’ coloured flower that you need. So, we thought we would show you just how easy it is to alter our flowers, ever so slightly, and very easily, to match any project, and any colour imaginable.

Firtly, Gwen has created a beautiful, heartfelt card, suitable for any occasion, and perfect for someone special. The pretty blooms frame the sentiment perfectly.

All our flowers take up ink so well, as you can see here, where Gwen has used Glimmer Glam to change the white ‘Ashlee’ bloom an impressive aqua colour. Notice how the blue edges of the Ashlee flower have given the flower a pretty, almost purple edge.

Alicia has used the bright colours, while still managing to keep her usual soft, romantic style

You're so funny

Our flowers have been appearing on projects far and wide recently. We are noticing them popping up so much more among the pages of crafting magazines, both here in Australia, and overseas. We thought it would be fun to showcase some of the beautiful creations we have come across in the magazines, here on our blog. We plan to make this post a regular event, so, please, if you have had any creations featuring Manor House Creations products published in a magazine, anywhere in the world, we would love to have to chance to share them with everyone.

Alicia Barry, My Little Girl

Hi everyone, Alicia here with you today with some girly layouts to share with you.

The first one is a typically girly layout of my little princess. With two older brothers, it is so nice to have a little girl to scrap, especially with so many wonderful MHC flowers for inspiration.  I adore the Watermelon coloured flowers. They are such a gorgeous shade of pink, and team really well with paler shades too.

See how the black centres of the watermelon Rue flower works in so well with the black spots on the pretty Powder Puff flowers.

Hi there – Linda here today with a couple of cards perfect for brightening someone’s day.

First of all the card that inspired my blog post title today….I just love this quote……

The floral cluster on my card is made up of these sweet blooms - Springtime Lavender; Capri Gold Rose and a Glitter Rose in white.

Jo altered box

Joanne shares  ”This was one of those fake book type boxes that you can get to hide keys and other valuables in, in you bookcase. Well not anymore…lol. It is now what I call a Vintage Trinket Box.

I scraped a little of the glitter away from the mini roses to make them
a little plainer

Goodmorning, and welcome,

Today, the talented Linda Langes shares with us a few tips on how she went about creating this gorgeous, shabby, mixed media card

Below are the products Linda used, so you can have a go at these great techniques yourself.

Goodmorning, we do hope you are all having a fabulous weekend, no matter where you are. Maybe you are lucky enough to be having a creative, scrappy weekend, and if so, then we have the post for you. Our new design team girls have been hard at work, and have created some truly stunning projects to share with you today…

Elena has created a wonderful, mixed media style layout, and has given the flowers a soft shabby look, by randomly painting some GESSO over them.
